Church service at Mosaic church in Reutlingen
· Liesl gave testimony, Jiai and Jeff did Japanese quiz about toilets (ppl loved the music, temperature and bum massages), vending machines (1 per 6 ppl) and Christian population, whole group sang “The Solid Rock”.
· Service lasted 3 hours – Liesl was only person who had sermon translated
· Ate breakfast before service and potluck lunch afterwards

Rock Climbing
· Everyone can climb!
· Curt was a machine – made new friend with squeeker
· Kristi was flexi-girl
· Ashlyn had fun playing, running, “george of the jungle style”
· Jiai did it!
· Jeff booted it up fast
· Liesl perservered…thru frustration! – too legit to quit!, though scared to break her nails and wanted to brush her hair
· Gorgeous view
· When Kristi was coming down Andy “Im out of rope”
· Andy running out of rope when he was belaying himself down

Chef salad at 8:30 pm back at the Maier’s home

Called up Dirk and Dennis


Met up with Dirk, Dennis, Dennis and Jannik in Reutlingen
· Started with ice cream
· Sat on the steps to eat and talked
· Dennis B cut Jeff’s hair ‘emo’ style with scissors Jeff got from Markus’ house
· Kristi, Ashlyn, Curt, Dennis A and Jannik went to a gas station to get hairspray
· A few rats ran by while we were cutting hair
· Then went and bought Dennis B a drink in payment for the haircut
· Jiai, Jeff and Dirk had a conversation with Jannik (we prayed)
· Andy talked with Dennis B (we prayed)
· Kristi talked with Dennis A (we prayed)
· Dennis B taught us how to emo dance and we started to all become friends
· The three were really sad when we left, we promised to keep in touch, sent them photos of the night.

Went home and crashed – smelling smokey

Highlights -morning

Encouraged by Liesl’s testimony – realizing we don’t know very much about each other
Curt and Kristi talked with Jochen – had epilepsy before becoming a believer then was healed of it
Andreus – did Alpha course with many non-believers
Bonita and Ashlyn talked with older couple who were visiting daughter – husband had been in a ‘gang’ and came to Christ thru one of their friends and 3 out of 5 of them are now believers
Ashlyn -washing dishes for them, enjoyed blessing them in that way so they didn’t have to clean up
Jiai – taking the first step and talking to a stranger
Jeff – “no complaint is compliment enough”
Liesl – singing the song for the church – never done anything like that before
Curt as the choir director – and cracking mid-song

Highlights -afternoon
Curt was fearless until he met Squeeks (some amimal he found in the rocks)
Ashlyn running along the wallface
Seeing the team work together, being able to encourage
Climbing the wall
The view
Curt quickly learning how to belay

Highlights -evening
Jeff- getting his hair cut – so random
Kristi – talking with Dennis because it stretched her and hopes that God is able to work thru her conversation with him
Bonita – team starting to work on a spiritual level, tag-teaming, prayer
