Woke up, ready for 7:30 am
Went to Schkeuditz and helped with the restoration of the new church


They were given $27,000 from other churches in the states and when they went to the auction, for the building, their competitor stopped the bidding and they got the building for that exact amount. The property alone is worth $80,000 and rising because the area is developing.
Had breakfast at the church with the other workers
Met Craig and Debbie Bogard
Dug in the basement and filled in a trench outside

Went to the Crawfords for lunch – Brad, Laurie, Austin, Caleb, Bethany, Hannah

5:00 pm, Brad came and took us to the church and had dinner
Seminar at the church was on “Church”
What, Why and How about church
People from other church in Detmold came 400 km to join us and lead seminar
Back to the apartments for debriefing

Highlights
Bonita – digging 50 cm of clay with Curt in a dark corner
Kristi – seeing how God had already provided for church we worked at and how is using us to provide for them
Curt – digging 50 cm of clay with Bonita, playing foosball at the church
Jeff – doing physical work
Jiai – talking with Lydia at the seminar
Ashlyn – doing physical work
Liesl – digging outside, being part of the restoration of the church
